Alpatláhuac, Ver., 25 de agosto de 2016.- La Secretaría de Protección Civil (PC) reiteró que se mantiene activa la Alerta Especial por deslizamientos, derrumbes y deslaves emitida por el Gobernador Javier Duarte de Ochoa en pasados días, la cual también se ha remitido a los 212 ayuntamientos veracruzanos, a fin de extremar precauciones y efectuar los trabajos preventivos correspondientes.
La dependencia señaló que con esta alerta ya se están tomando precauciones en la materia, para detectar lugares donde se podrían presentar estos fenómenos geológicos.
Asimismo, se destacó que diversos grupos multidisciplinarios realizan supervisiones técnicas y de dictaminación de zonas de riesgo en regiones montañosas del estado de Veracruz, a fin de reducir los riesgos de la población.
Se solicitó a las autoridades municipales que, en el ámbito de sus atribuciones y a la brevedad posible, y con el fin de salvaguardar la vida de la población, sus bienes, servicios vitales, sistemas estratégicos y entorno, se difunda esta alerta entre la ciudadanía; y se exhortó a tomar las medidas de prevención y seguridad necesarias para reducir el peligro de desastres.
Del mismo modo, se recordó que el gobierno federal aprobó la Declaratoria de Desastre para 86 municipios que fueron afectados por las fuertes lluvias provocadas por la Tormenta Tropical Earl, entre los cuales existen por deslizamiento de laderas: Alpatláhuac, Coscomatepec, Huayacocotla, Tequila y Xalapa.
Se explicó que en lo que va del año se han registrado cientos de deslaves en el estado de Veracruz, por las constantes lluvias que se han presentado en gran parte del territorio; se recordó que Veracruz está expuesto permanentemente al peligro de deslaves, lluvias y otros fenómenos, por lo que se realizan acciones, como nunca antes, para reducir la pérdida de vidas y del patrimonio que poseen las familias veracruzanas.
Finalmente, se reiteró que desde el inicio de este gobierno, se rediseñaron las políticas públicas para adecuarlas a la gestión integral del riesgo de desastres, y se ha privilegiado como nunca una estrategia sustentada en la prevención, para dejar de actuar sólo de manera reactiva.
