Tras obtener la autorización para intentar sumar las 10 mil 500 firmas para poder conseguir el registro como candidata independiente por la alcaldía de Perote, Emilia Yunes Suárez, ya realiza acercamiento con la ciudadanía, para lograr el apoyo necesario antes del 5 de febrero, cuando vence el plazo para acudir ante el Órgano Público Local Electoral (OPLE) y entregar dichas firmas.
Activistas de diferentes sectores que han externado su agrado con el proyecto de doña Emilia, la están ayudando a conseguir las firmas necesarias para lograr el registro como candidata ciudadana, independiente. Tal es el caso de la señora Josefina Tenorio Villagomez, quien habita en la comunidad Los Pescados, en las faldas del Cofre de Perote y que decidió participar de forma activa porque quieren formar parte del cambio que necesita su municipio, para lo cual lo primero es poder tener un acercamiento real de quienes habrán de competir por la alcaldía.
Aunque sabe que son varios los personajes que aspiran a la presidencia municipal de Perote, doña Josefina señala que ellos, en esa zona a quien han visto trabajando desde hace mucho tiempo, no ahora que es tiempo electoral, es a Emilia Yunes, ya que a diferentes comunidades, no sólo a Los Pescados, ha apoyado en las diferentes demandas que le han planteado, por lo que consideran que su aspiración es legítima y surge precisamente por su compromiso con los ciudadanos que más necesitan del apoyo de las autoridades.
Tenorio Villagomez comenta también que cada que hay elecciones siempre se acercan a ellos los partidos políticos, con despensas, colchonetas y otros obsequios, pero después del día de la jornada electoral, no vuelven, ganen o pierdan se olvidan de todas las promesas que les hacen, por eso es que consideran que la figura de la candidatura independiente es una oportunidad para todos de participar y tratar de hacer las cosas bien.
