Coatzacoalcos, Ver., 13 de septiembre de 2016.- Después de varias horas de combatir el incendio en la bodega de plásticos y solventes en la ciudad de Coatzacoalcos, los cuerpos de auxilio integrantes del Sistema Estatal de Protección Civil lograron controlar y sofocar el siniestro la madrugada de este martes.
La Secretaría de Protección Civil (PC) informó que sólo se reportaron tres personas lesionadas, quienes fueron trasladadas en vehículos particulares a la Clínica 36 del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, y responden a los nombres de Hugo Bermúdez, Nacim Escobar y Juan Jaime de la Rosa.
A través de un comunicado del IMSS se dio a conocer que las quemaduras son del 80, 65 y 18 por ciento del cuerpo de los lesionados, pero no se especifica a quienes corresponden. Los dos más graves serán enviados en las próximas horas a tercer nivel.
Asimismo, la dependencia señaló que de manera precautoria y para evitar mayores riesgos en la población, se realizó la evacuación de 30 viviendas ubicadas en las cercanías del lugar.
Por ello, se activó un refugio temporal en el gimnasio en la colonia Nueva Obrera, con 30 personas albergadas, quienes después se alojaron con familiares, y alrededor de las 07:00 horas el lugar fue desactivado.
PC indicó que el incendio se registró en dos naves de una bodega de la empresa Poliresin SA de CV con materiales diversos, principalmente plásticos de alta densidad. El almacenamiento se encuentra en un predio, y dentro del mismo se incendió también una bodega aledaña que está confinada.
Debido a la fuerza de la radiación y a la cercanía resultaron afectadas algunas viviendas, una de ellas fue pérdida total, dos con pérdida parcial y un taller mecánico, pero sin lesionados.
Asimismo, se instaló un puesto de mando cerca del área incendiada (zona segura). Cabe destacar que el incendio no afectó el tráfico en la zona.
La mañana de este martes las llamas ya habían sido sofocadas, pero se continuaba con las labores de enfriamiento y remoción de los escombros.
