Xalapa, Ver, 26 de diciembre de 2016.- Para apoyar a los productores agrícolas afectados con la falta de recursos durante este año, la Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Desarrollo Rural, Pesca y Alimentación (Sagarpa), directamente de sus oficinas centrales, liberará un fondo emergente de 200 millones de pesos.
Dicha información fue compartida por el coordinador del Pacto de Organizaciones por Veracruz, Édgar Díaz Fuentes, quien explicó que dicho recurso fue acordado en una reunión que sostuvieron en la Ciudad de México distintos líderes del campo con el titular, el oficial mayor y el delegado de la dependencia en el estado, y que estaría “salvando” a los productores de la difícil situación que enfrentaron este año.
El exdiputado local comentó que “se trata de un programa emergente que para su aplicación se dialogó directo con las organizaciones de productores y que debió aplicarse durante este año, pero les ganó el tiempo y el propio gobierno del estado no hizo las aportaciones que le correspondían, además desviaron los recursos y realmente por eso no se había aplicado”.
De igual forma mencionó que en la plática institucional se determinó que el recurso privilegiaría a los pequeños productores y cuestionó que los programas de la Sagarpa estén centralizados y comúnmente dirigidos a los grandes consorcios y productores, dejando de lado a los que menos producen.
Aunque no saben aún el número total de campesinos que pudieran ser beneficiados, Díaz Fuentes resaltó que serían de todas las ramas de producción como pescadores, ganaderos, piñeros, chayoteros, huleros, cafeticultores, entre otros, agrupados en 32 organizaciones.
Finalmente, el líder del Pacto de Organizaciones por Veracruz expresó que este recurso emergente va a permitir que de alguna manera el sector pueda beneficiarse y añadió que esperan que en 2017 se apliquen coordinadamente el presupuesto para el campo, privilegiando a los pequeños productores y las asociaciones que los agremian.
