Coatzacoalcos, Ver, 28 de diciembre de 2016.- La Coordinación de Movilidad Humana de la diócesis de Coatzacoalcos está a la espera de que el ayuntamiento del puerto le entregue el terreno para edificar la nueva casa del migrante.

El sacerdote Joel Ireta Munguía, afirmó que será hasta enero que la diócesis espere el anuncio del sitio donde podría construirse el albergue para los indocumentados.

“Pues yo nada más voy a esperar hasta enero, porque si no pues ya buscare otras alternativas, yo con tal de poder tener relación en cuanto a alguna autoridad le corresponde la atención a los migrantes, nosotros lo hacemos de manera caritativa y de mucho corazón, y si ellos no quieren tomar el papel que les corresponde ya será cosa de ellos”.

Indicó que la donación del terreno se debe hacer como una labor caritativa y no con otro fin, dijo que la diócesis no detendrá su atención hacia los migrantes a pesar de esta situación y se analizarán otras opciones.

Ejemplifico el albergue que se tiene planeado habilitar en Oluta Veracruz, donde las autoridades de la zona se han comprometido a contribuir con la situación migrante.

“Por ejemplo, a los del albergue de Oluta, en Acayucan, ya gracias a Dios, les van a dar un terreno con las escrituras el día 30, entonces yo creo que son las mismas condiciones, aquí a lo mejor no haya terrenos, no puedo meterme ahí, ya sería la voluntad”.

Comentó que fue ofrecido un terreno para la construcción de la casa, esto en las inmediaciones de las vías del tren, sin embargo, por esa zona, la bestia viaja a alta velocidad, lo que dificultaría la atención a los centroamericanos.
