Córdoba, Veracruz. 23 de enero de 2017.- A 23 días de haber iniciado el año, la escala de violencia en la región centro del estado ha ido en aumento de manera considerable, señaló el Director General de la Cruz Roja Córdoba, Jorge García Pérez.
De acuerdo con sus reportes, en lo que va de este año ya se han atendido a 16 personas agredidas con arma de fuego, de las que sólo a seis les han podido salvar la vida.
“En lo que van los primeros días del mes y del año, ya llevamos atendidas 16 personas heridas por arma de fuego, es muy muy elevado, tan sólo el año pasado atendimos a 46 personas de las cuales les salvamos la vida a seis y en el año 2015 atendimos 42 y ahí les salvamos la vida a siete personas, ahorita de las 16 personas que les hemos atendido, solamente les hemos podido salvar la vida a seis personas”, detalló.
García Pérez sostuvo que estas estadísticas son bastante preocupantes pues demuestran que la incidencia delictiva va en aumento, razón por la que como corporación han tenido que reforzar su operativo Acceso más Seguro a fin de no exponer a los mismos paramédicos.
De igual forma los servicios prestados por accidentes automovilísticos y de motocicletas han registrado un aumento considerable, por lo que la Cruz Roja Córdoba ha tenido un inicio de año con bastante trabajo.
