Xalapa, Ver., 12 de septiembre de 2016.- Hoy, los jóvenes veracruzanos están marcando un parteaguas en nuestra historia, nuevas generaciones se preparan y se forman para competir con los mejores y ganar; en el deporte, la ciencia, la tecnología y las artes, han aprendido a ver de frente a los mejores y llevarse el triunfo, afirmó el Gobernador Javier Duarte de Ochoa durante la entrega del Premio Estatal de la Juventud 2016, reconocimiento público a quienes se destacan por su trayectoria y expresión.
En el Patio Central de Palacio de Gobierno, el mandatario subrayó el mérito de la juventud al decir que ésta no es sinónimo de inexperiencia, sino que significa energía, fortaleza y, en muchos sentidos, es el ánimo de poder aportar lo mejor en beneficio de nuestra sociedad; por ello esta distinción está basada en la entrega, el talento, el esfuerzo y el conocimiento de este sector de la población.
“Queremos más jóvenes exitosos en todas las ramas, porque tenemos el talento y Veracruz ha creado como nunca antes políticas públicas para impulsarlo, más aún, en materia educativa, donde están ganando premios y reconocimientos a nivel mundial como los mejores y como los campeones que son”.
Duarte de Ochoa dijo que los hoy premiados son ejemplo de que los jóvenes son presente de lucha y compromiso con su entorno, al tiempo que los exhortó a continuar fomentando y desarrollando esta labor en beneficio de la sociedad.
Los galardonaros recibieron por parte del Gobernador una medalla, constancia y un estímulo económico. Se trata de José Javier Reyes Lagos, por Logro Académico; Israel García Cheng, en el rubro de Expresiones Artísticas y Artes Populares; Jesús Alberto Pérez García, por Compromiso Social; Miguel Reyes Ordoñes, con el tema de Fortalecimiento a la Cultura Indígena, y Mayreli García Tenorio, por Protección al Ambiente.
También, Omar Mauricio Barrón Martínez, por Ingenio Emprendedor; Yeralding Sánchez Morales, en materia de Derechos Humanos; Iván Osvaldo Montiel Taxilaga, por Discapacidad e Inclusión Social; Rafael Elot Aquino, en Aportación a la Cultura Política y la Democracia, y Jorge Alberto Silva Valenzuela, por Ciencia y Tecnología.
