Tras la renuncia del exgobernador Fidel Herrera Beltrán, al cargo de Cónsul de México en Barcelona, el secretario de Gobierno, Rogelio Franco Castán, expresó que será de gran importancia que el exmandatario se presente a declarar por su presunta responsabilidad en el desfalco de Veracruz y en la compra de medicamentos falsos para el tratamiento de niños con cáncer.
