En el marco de la celebración de sus 32 años de presencia en Xalapa, el Movimiento Antorchista, en una concentración masiva, con más de 25 mil militantes de la región, anunció, en voz de su dirigente nacional, Aquiles Córdoba Moran, que competirán electoralmente en 2024, pero ya separados del PRI.
“El PRI va a cosechar lo que ha sembrado; Antorcha es una organización que ha estado legalmente como parte del PRI, pero la política antorchista es totalmente distinta, siempre ha sido así”.
Córdoba Morán mencionó que la idea de que son incondicionales del PRI es por la forma en que medios informativos han manejado el asunto, pues “cuando les conviene nos acusan de priístas o bien de traidores del PRI”.
Por lo que dejó claro que no son propiedad de ningún partido, pues se deben al pueblo trabajador y es al pueblo al que tienen que responderle, rendirle cuentas y por eso Antorcha va a buscar las mejores condiciones para seguir avanzando en la solución de las demandas de su gente.
Incluso indicó “si tenemos que renunciar a cualquier diputación lo haremos, porque tenemos muchos años sin ninguna posición en los congresos y a pesar de eso hemos avanzado, es decir, sabemos cómo se lucha desde abajo, no vamos a depender del poder formal, vamos a seguir luchando pase lo que pase, no tenemos en sello de ningún partido en la frente”.
Por lo que anunció que para 2024 buscarán posiciones ya con un proyecto como partido político, para demostrar precisamente que no son apéndices de un partido que necesiten para sobrevivir.
Los dirigentes del Movimiento Antorchista en Veracruz y Xalapa, Samuel Aguirre Ochoa y Minerva Salcedo Baca, respectivamente, coincidieron, en sus mensajes, que la severa crisis que padece nuestro país es por el modelo neoliberal que insisten en mantener vivo la clase política que controla a México, por lo que se requiere acabar con ese esquema para poder pensar en una verdadera equidad que permita crecer de manera armonizada en todos los sectores, pues la repartición de la riqueza como está actualmente, impide que el campo, la industria de productos y servicios básicos no pueda despegar.
