Xalapa, Ver., 05 de octubre de 2016.- De acuerdo con el Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública (SNSP), ninguno de los 50 municipios con más homicidios del país es veracruzano, aseveró el secretario ejecutivo del Sistema y del Consejo Estatal de Seguridad Pública (CESP), Juan Antonio Nemi Dib, al ser cuestionado sobre la percepción de inseguridad por parte de habitantes de la entidad.
Asimismo, el servidor público enfatizó que las cifras dadas a conocer no son del Gobierno del Estado, “son datos comprobables, verificables y auditables, no sólo por organismos nacionales sino internacionales, que son manejados con rigor por el SNSP, al estar basados en denuncias, además de estar contrastados con información de distintas aseguradoras”.
Pese a ser una de las entidades más pobladas de la República, con cerca de ocho millones de habitantes, Veracruz mantiene una incidencia delictiva, en lo que va de 2016, de sólo 27 mil 551 ilícitos, lo que la sitúa por debajo de estados como Guanajuato, que es de menor territorio y con un estimado de cinco millones de habitantes, donde, en el presente año, se han cometido 70 mil 516 delitos, según el SNSP.
“Si bien las cifras no son las deseadas por el propio Gobierno de Veracruz, representan el esfuerzo por una disminución de delitos de todos los órdenes”, señaló, al citar la cantidad de ilícitos cometidos en el periodo enero-agosto, que pasó de 48 mil 599 en 2011 a sólo 27 mil 551 en el mismos lapso de 2016; “como muestra de una reducción efectiva, derivada de esfuerzos conjuntos con la Policía Federal, la Marina-Armada de México, el Ejército Mexicano y los cuerpos de seguridad estatal”.
Nemi Dib agregó que las cifras son reales; sin embargo, la percepción social está determinada en los tiempos actuales por una mayor visibilidad, resultado de una mayor transparencia, apertura a la cobertura informativa por los medios de comunicación y las redes sociales, que transmiten prácticamente en tiempo real cualquier transgresión a la Ley y la paz social, lo que influye en un incremento de la sensación de inseguridad.
