Ciudad de México.- Al anunciar que este día comenzó el proceso formal de consultas para revisar y profundizar el Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte (TLCAN), el Presidente de la República, Enrique Peña Nieto, relanzó el sello Hecho en México, a fin de favorecer la competitividad de productos nacionales.
Agregó que la consulta sobre el TLCAN, acordada con el sector productivo del país, durará 90 días y comienza simultáneamente con la que el gobierno de Estados Unidos realizará internamente.
Al término de este proceso, detalló, iniciará propiamente la negociación para actualizar el tratado comercial del que son parte México, Estados Unidos y Canadá.
En reunión con dirigentes empresariales afiliados a la Confederación de Cámaras Industriales de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos (Concamin), el mandatario federal ratificó que nuestro país busca un “diálogo constructivo” con Estados Unidos que incluya el reconocimiento de la soberanía de ambas naciones que si bien “hemos expresado tener diferencias puntuales, por otro lado, hoy queremos también construir a partir de las coincidencias”.
Con relación al relanzamiento del sello Hecho en México, resultado de la colaboración de los sectores público y privado, el presidente de la República señaló que este símbolo que llevarán mercancías mexicanas son “un incentivo que favorece la competitividad de los productos nacionales”.
“Queremos que este sello Hecho en México sea un signo de calidad y confianza para los consumidores dentro y fuera de nuestro país. Que cuando alguien vea en un producto el distintivo con el águila mexicana, tenga la certeza de que está comprando un producto bien hecho y hecho en México”, enfatizó.
Asimismo, explicó que este sello “no significa distinguir si las empresas que lo realizan son nacionales o no. Lo importante es que esos productos están hechos por manos mexicanas, hechos con calidad, hechos con un pedacito del corazón y del alma de cada mexicano que va en cada uno de los productos que se realizan en nuestro país”.
