México, 26 Ene (Notimex).- Para la empresa automotriz Ford, México representa un importante componente en sus planes de largo plazo, por lo que está en un proceso de reflexión sobre las nuevas condiciones de la relación comercial con Estados Unidos, afirmó Marcos Pérez, director de Desarrollo de Productos y Movilidad de la armadora.
Al participar en el foro “México Disruptivo”, organizado por Grupo Expansión, el ejecutivo señaló que en este este momento Ford está analizando con mucho cuidado la situación de la empresa, lo que sucede en todo el mundo, y diseña estrategias adecuadas y viables para adaptarse rápidamente.
“México es muy importante para la corporación, en México tenemos cerca de ocho mil empleados y llevamos más de 90 años en el país, y busca las formas y mejores mecanismos para ser sustentable a mediano y largo plazos”, apuntó.
Comentó que México le aporta a su empresa manufactura e ingeniería de calidad, a costos más bajos, y ese es un factor que no pasará desapercibido para la toma de decisiones.
En el foro, especialistas y representantes del Consejo Ejecutivo de Empresas Globales analizan y debaten sobre los avances tecnológicos y la digitalización generalizada de los sistemas productivos en todas las ramas de producción.
Se planteó que los alcances de una economía digital son inconmensurables, por lo que en el caso de México se debe aprovechar su posición estratégica a escala regional para que alcance mejores niveles como exportador, explorando nuevos mercados y socios.
