Veracruz, Ver., 29 de noviembre de 2016.- El Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura (IVEC) hizo entrega de 21 estímulos a 26 propuestas, que serán beneficiadas con un monto de 850 mil pesos, como parte de la V Convocatoria de Proyectos Culturales del Sotavento.
La ceremonia fue encabezada por el subdirector de Desarrollo Cultural Regional de la dependencia, Óscar Hernández Beltrán, y el encargado del Departamento de Desarrollo Cultural Zona Sur, Rafael Vázquez Marcelo, para dar seguimiento al Programa de Desarrollo Cultural del Sotavento, que suscriben los estados de Veracruz, Oaxaca y Tabasco a través de la Dirección General de Vinculación de la Secretaría de Cultura.
Los proyectos comunitarios van encaminados a la formación y capacitación, difusión del patrimonio cultural y el equipamiento en diferentes recintos, grupos comunitarios y asociaciones civiles que presentaron propuestas para esta quinta emisión.
De un total de 102 proyectos recibidos, el comité dictaminador seleccionó 26, de los cuales, 18 corresponden a Veracruz, ubicados en los municipios de Tlacotalpan, Acayucan, Sayula de Alemán, Nanchital, Ixmatlahuacan, Lerdo de Tejada, Santiago Tuxtla, Minatitlán, Playa Vicente, Santiago Sochiapan, Mecayapan, Cosoleacaque, Veracruz y Boca del Río.
Entre las propuestas presentadas se encuentra la realización de talleres de cultura popular, como es el caso de Cosoleacaque, con clases de laudería tradicional a cargo del músico Germán Carrizosa Luna; de telar de cintura, bordados y horquilla de Mecayapan, organizado por Carmen Bautista Ramírez; mientras que en la localidad Huazuntlán, de ese municipio, se auspicia un curso de alfarería tradicional impartido por la artesana Epifanía Hernández Castillo.
Otros de los rubros beneficiados son el equipamiento, compra de materiales e implementos para diversas manifestaciones de la cultura popular, como el fortalecimiento de la danza zapoteca de los Negritos en el Nigromante, en Playa Vicente; o el impulso a músicos tradicionales, como es el caso de Son Temoyo, en Acayucan, donde se fortaleció la adquisición de instrumentos o la elaboración de indumentaria tradicional en la misma zona, una de las más apoyadas durante la emisión.
Entre las agrupaciones beneficiadas con los estímulos destacan La Casa del Son y el Fandango en Tlacotalpan, el Encuentro de Tejedoras de Veracruz y Oaxaca, previsto en La Punta, Colotepec, Oaxaca, y la productora Barlovento de Jaime Cruz, con su proyecto Conversaciones con el Mono Blanco.
