Xalapa, Ver., 17 de noviembre de 2016.- Desde la Secretaría de Gobierno (SEGOB) trabajamos coordinadamente en beneficio de la población, atendiendo sus legítimas demandas y peticiones con sensibilidad y madurez política; reconociendo los enormes retos que tiene Veracruz en materia financiera y de seguridad, afirmó el titular de la dependencia, Genaro Mejía de la Merced.

Al comparecer ante la LXIV Legislatura del Estado, como parte de la Glosa del VI Informe de Gobierno, el servidor público enfatizó que lo anterior se logró hablando siempre con la verdad, haciendo prevalecer el diálogo y escuchando todas las voces y expresiones de la sociedad.

Reiteró que Veracruz tiene gobernabilidad, paz social y certeza jurídica, gracias a la tolerancia, la construcción de acuerdos y la comunicación que ha mantenido permanentemente el Gobierno del Estado, a través de la Secretaría de Gobierno, con todos los grupos políticos y sociales, los municipios, las autoridades del Gobierno de la República y los poderes Legislativo y Judicial.

“Juntos, sociedad y gobierno, hemos hecho prevalecer la armonía y la tranquilidad, porque Veracruz merece vivir en paz”, señaló, al destacar que no sólo se han generado empleos, sino que hoy, gracias a la gobernabilidad, las escuelas, los institutos tecnológicos y universidades funcionan con normalidad.

“Puertos, aeropuertos, vías de comunicación e instalaciones estratégicas de Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) y la Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) operan sin mayores contratiempos, y el turismo sigue llegando a Veracruz porque tenemos seguridad y mucho que ofrecer a quienes nos visitan de otras partes del país y del mundo”.

En presencia de los integrantes de la Comisión de Gobernación, diputados Emiliano López Cruz, José Kirsch Sánchez y María Josefina Gamboa Torales, presidente, secretario y vocal, respectivamente, Mejía de la Merced hizo un llamado a la unidad de los veracruzanos.

“Sólo unidos podremos superar los enormes desafíos que tenemos por delante; más allá de colores o siglas partidistas, lo importante es sumar voluntades en favor de una sola causa que se llama Veracruz”.

Por último, reconoció el apoyo que la Federación y, de manera particular, el Presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, han brindado a los veracruzanos en materia financiera y de seguridad; así como el empeño y dedicación que el Gobernador Flavino Ríos Alvarado ha puesto para que Veracruz pueda afrontar éstos y otros temas.
