Ciudad de México.- Las dirigencias de los partidos Acción Nacional (PAN) y de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) no se pusieron de acuerdo para conformar una alianza en las elecciones locales ordinarias que tendrán lugar el próximo 4 de junio en el Estado de México.
Al vencer el plazo este lunes a las 24 horas, para el registro de coaliciones en el Estado de México, ambas fuerzas comunicaron por diferentes vías su decisión de no ir juntos a la contienda en la que se definirá al gobernador mexiquense.
Manifestaron, además, la ruptura de la alianza que habían registrado ya en Coahuila, donde se elegirá gobernador y se renovarán las 38 presidencias municipales y las 25 diputaciones del Congreso local.
El PAN señaló, en un comunicado, que de su parte hubo en todo momento la disposición de conformar una alianza con las fuerzas políticas “que ya no quieren que siga gobernando el PRI corrupto e ineficaz que ha sumido al Estado de México en los peores niveles de corrupción e inseguridad que se recuerden”.
Acción Nacional se declaró listo “para apostar por nosotros mismos y encabezar el cambio que anhelan la mayoría de los mexiquenses” y dijo que las encuestas ubican al blanquiazul como el partido mejor posicionado en la entidad, considerada “la joya de la corona” de las elecciones locales ordinarias de junio próximo que tendrán lugar, además, en Veracruz (donde se elegirá a los 212 alcaldes de la entidad), Nayarit (donde estarán en disputa la gubernatura, 20 presidencias municipales y las 30 curules del Congreso estatal) y el ya citado estado de Coahuila.
El PAN señaló también que será en días próximos cuando emita su convocatoria para la definición de su candidata o candidato al gobierno mexiquense.
Por su parte el PRD, comenzó a emitir desde la medianoche diversos mensajes mediante su cuenta institucional de Twitter @PRDMexico, en los que señaló que irá a las elecciones en el Estado de México con candidato propio y que, no obstante, buscará que se sume a su propuesta el Partido del Trabajo. Ahí se informó: “En Coahuila vamos a disolver la coalición que se tenía con Acción Nacional y veremos nuestra candidatura en el estado”.
