Xalapa, Ver. 7 de diciembre de 2016.- El Secretario de Gobierno, Rogelio Franco Castán, anunció, por instrucción del Gobernador del Estado, Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares, una serie de medidas que se implementarán de manera interinstitucional para atender la Declaratoria de Alerta de Violencia de Género contra las Mujeres, entre las que destacan patrullajes en zonas de alto riesgo, campañas de difusión de medidas preventivas, una línea de auxilio, y un banco estatal de datos, entre otras.
Acompañado de representantes de asociaciones civiles, de Unidades de Género de las dependencias estatales, de Derechos Humanos, y diputadas de la Comisión para la Igualdad de Género, el titular de Segob encabezó desde el Salón Juárez de Palacio de Gobierno, la presentación de las Acciones Específicas para Atender la Violencia de Género contra las Mujeres, en seguimiento a la Declaratoria lanzada por la Comisión Nacional para Erradicar la Violencia Contra las Mujeres.
La Declaratoria de Alerta de Violencia de Género contra las Mujeres plantea la atención prioritaria en once municipios, que son Boca del Río, Coatzacoalcos, Córdoba, Las Choapas, Martínez de la Torre, Minatitlán, Orizaba, Poza Rica, Tuxpan, el puerto de Veracruz y Xalapa, quienes contarán con un amplio respaldo para lograr los objetivos anunciados.
Entre ellos: Disponer de áreas y mecanismos de atención en todo el estado para garantizar una mejor vida a las mujeres en Veracruz; la implementación de más patrullajes, vigilancia en transporte público y lugares de convivencia donde hay mayor incidencia de acoso de violencia género y atención inmediata de emergencia y denuncias vía telefónica, así como otras formas de auxilio que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías y las redes sociales.
Así también el mejoramiento de alumbrado público en colonias y comunidades, campañas de difusión, de concientización y prevención con el objetivo que todas las mujeres violentadas o amenazadas tengan conocimiento de qué hacer y a dónde recurrir.
El Secretario de Gobierno, Rogelio Franco Castán, informó que los distintos poderes estatales y los organismos autónomos colaborarán en estas acciones implementadas y se tendrá respaldo de la Fiscalía General del Estado que aplicará medidas para garantizar el acceso pleno a la justicia.
