Xalapa, Ver., 14 de febrero de 2017.- Esta tarde, el fiscal general del estado, Jorge Winckler Ortiz tuvo una reunión de trabajo con integrantes de la Comisión Estatal para la Atención y Protección de los Periodistas (CEAPP) en la que se establecieron acuerdos de mutua participación para optimizar la función de periodísticas.
Representantes de ambos organismos autónomos trataron temas relativos a la debida salvaguarda y difusión de información pública y el seguimiento de asuntos competentes a la fiscalía estatal, en los que figuran como agraviados profesionales de la información, cuyos casos son tutelados por la CEAPP.
Algunos de los acuerdos establecidos fueron: la integración de una agenda de revisión de casos específicos; el planteamiento de mecanismos de difusión institucional, derechos y garantías individuales de periodistas y el establecimiento de un plan estratégico de atención, integrado por mesas de análisis y propuestas interinstitucionales.
A su vez iniciaron los trabajos de renovación del convenio de trabajo entre ambas instituciones mediante el cual quedará inscrita la colaboración, coordinación, capacitación y el apoyo de medidas cautelares en el ámbito de la actividad periodística.
El secretario ejecutivo de la CEAPP, Jorge Morales Vázquez resaltó que “fue manifiesta y productiva la expresa disposición del fiscal del estado hacia la labor periodística y la protección de comunicadores; se conoció el impulso que se dará al gremio, mediante la implementación de una política de acercamiento en materia de difusión y comunicación social y nos fueron explicadas a detalle las normas jurídica que resguardan los derechos de víctimas e imputados”.
Presentes en las instalaciones del edificio central de la FGE, la Comisionada presidenta de la CEAPP, Ana Laura Pérez Mendoza y los Comisionados del mismo organismo, Sayda Gisela Chiñas Córdova, Silverio Quevedo Elox, Pedro Alberto Díaz Cruz y Luis Alberto Romero Herrera.
