Aunque entienden a las otras organizaciones que solicitan un ajuste a las tarifas por el nuevo incremento a las gasolinas, los taxistas adheridos al Sindicato de Operadores, Propietarios y Anexos del Estado de Veracruz (Sopaver), dieron a conocer que no aumentarán los costos de sus servicios, ya que los usuarios ya están siendo afectados por esta situación y no quieren abonar a perjudicar la economía familiar.
El secretario general de dicha organización sindical, José Luis Castillo Salas, dijo que no entienden la política económica del Gobierno Federal, pues “tal parece que el único objetivo es terminar de hundir a la clase trabajadora y sobre todo acrecentar el número de pobres en el país, por eso los más de mil 500 afiliados a Sopaver habremos de apretarnos el cinturón y no alteraremos la tarifa de taxi, no podemos sacrificar más al usuario”.
El líder de los trabajadores del volante comentó también que “esta política financiera equivocada del Jefe del Ejecutivo Federal está despertando el México Bronco, algo que en nada abona a la estabilidad social del país”.
De igual forma Castillo Salas mencionó que el incremento al precio de la gasolina a nadie agrada, mucho menos beneficia, por lo que deben tomar en consideración a todos los sectores de la población al implementar medidas como esa, pues quien gobierna está ahí por el voto de la mayoría y es a quien debe rendirle cuentas.
Sin embargo, prosigue el dirigente de Sopaver, “aunque la situación nos aprieta, nos ahoga, primero debemos pensar en el usuario, en esa gente a la que nos debemos y a quien le tenemos que brindar un buen servicio, lo demás tenemos que sortearlo nosotros”.
En ese sentido añadió que sus agremiados, aunque les será difícil, están de acuerdo en hacer el esfuerzo y ser solidarios con la ciudadanía, en este momento de crisis, por lo que se ponen del lado del usuario, manteniendo las tarifas.
“Todos acordamos solidarizarnos con la población, ya bastante golpeada ha sido por la equivocada política económica del Presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, como para ahora nosotros, con ese pretexto, la terminemos de hundir”.
El dirigente de Sopaver reiteró su respeto a la postura de otras organizaciones de taxistas que piden incrementar las tarifas, pero no comparten esa causa en este momento.
Por lo que concluyó diciendo que “en los más de 50 municipios en los que tiene presencia Sopaver no caeremos en el abuso, sino al contrario, actuaremos con serenidad y cordura, eso que quede bien claro”.
