Coatzacoalcos, Ver.- Ante el panorama que se visualiza con la entrada al poder de Donald Trump como nuevo presidente de los Estados Unidos, en los últimos días el flujo migratorio en la zona sur se incrementó considerablemente, llegando a superar los 300 indocumentados que transitan por Coatzacoalcos diariamente, cuando en semanas posteriores apenas superaba la cifra de 30 personas que buscan llegar a la frontera con la unión americana, esto de acuerdo a los datos que aportó la Pastoral de Movilidad Humana de la Diócesis del Puerto.
“Ahorita se ha incrementado hasta 300 diarios, eso es algo que se está dando y a veces llegan de 500 o 600 ahorita hay mucho movimiento migratorio, quizás previendo entrar a Estados Unidos antes de que Trump empiece a aplicar las políticas.”
Amado Ruiz Gordon vicario pastoral de la Diócesis de Coatzacoalcos, señaló que de aplicarse una política migratoria más rígida en la frontera, generaría que el país y en particular Veracruz se convierta en un refugio permanente para los desplazados, ya que el movimiento de indocumentados no se detendría.
“México se va a convertir en un tapón van a seguir llegando, va a seguir el flujo migratorio, va a llegar más gente, no solo de Centroamérica, sino también de México, se van a quedar detenidos en la frontera.”
Consideró que esto tendrá otro efecto para nuestro país, aumentando los índices delictivos, de pobreza y marginación, dijo que existe una gran incertidumbre por lo que pasara con la llegada del republicano, pero la iglesia católica confía en que una vez al frente de la Casa Blanca cambie su discurso hacia los migrantes.
