Xalapa, Ver., 04 de noviembre de 2016.- Autoridades de los tres niveles de Gobierno se reunieron para entregar resultados del Comité de Evaluación de Daños, a fin de acceder a recursos del Fondo de Desastres Naturales (FONDEN) para nueve municipios declarados en Desastre por lluvia severa registrada los días 27 y 28 de septiembre.
En el evento, la subdirectora del Jurídico, de la Secretaría de Protección Civil (PC), Beatriz Adriana Hernández Yobal, explicó que estas precipitaciones severas causaron inundaciones que afectaron infraestructura y a la población veracruzana.
Recordó que por ello se entregaron insumos como alimentos, cobijas, colchonetas, agua embotellada, láminas para techos y paquetes de limpieza a miles de familias, y ahora se trabaja para la reconstrucción de la subestructura.
Las fuertes lluvias también ocasionaron que algunos ríos y arroyos de respuesta rápida elevaran considerablemente sus niveles, afectando a comunidades y colonias en nueve de municipios, lo que valió la aprobación de la Declaratoria de Desastre por la Secretaría de Gobernación (SEGOB).
Ante autoridades de la Dirección General para la Gestión Integral de Riesgos de la dependencia federal, que participaron vía videoconferencia, la servidora pública convocó a trabajar de manera coordinada para resolver de raíz la problemática de estas personas, “lo que conlleva a realizar una serie de reuniones, corroborar deterioros y dar seguimiento”.
En su intervención, los subcomités evaluadores de los sectores carretero, hidráulico, de vivienda, educativo, urbano, forestal y salud presentaron un resumen de daños que, por su magnitud, ameritan acceder a apoyos del FONDEN.
El diagnóstico general y el consolidado de los recursos requeridos fueron entregados a los representantes de las instancias federales involucradas para su respectivo análisis y dictamen final, así como a las autoridades de las secretarías de Gobernación y de Hacienda y Crédito Público para su conocimiento.
Los nueve municipios declarados en Desastre por lluvias severas los días 27 y 28 de septiembre son: Benito Juárez, Catemaco, Chicontepec, Espinal, Huayacocotla, Ilamatlán, Tierra Blanca, Tres Valles y Zontecomatlán.
